Since entering the field of industrial design in 2006, Feng has led the design industry in Shenzhen to achieve multiple major outcomes. In 2017, she led a delegation of Shenzhen design industry to Hebei to improve the industrial design there with international vision, help with its industrial transformation and upgrading, and empower the city with design, making her acclaimed as "Promoter of Industrial Design" with international vision. She is the recipient of many honors and awards including Outstanding Individual of Productivity Development in China, 2019 China Industry-University-Research Craftsmanship Award, Gold Medal/China Design 70 Persons of China Design Contribution Award of Dragon Design Foundation Award, and China Creative Industry Top Ten Leading Figures of the Year.
Since taking the leadership in Shenzhen Industrial Design Profession Association, Feng has initiated multiple platforms for design innovation in China, such as National Industrial Design Innovation Alliance, Sino-Finnish Design Park, Hebei Industrial Design Innovation Center, Cross-strait Youth Entrepreneurship Base, Shenzhen Open Innovation Lab, Shenzhen Institute for Innovative Design, Sino-Swedish Design Park, Xiong’an Future Industrial Design Institute, Dingzhou Industrial Design Innovation Center, Jiangxi Red Products Innovation Design Center, and Industrial Technology Innovation Alliance of China Industrial Design. She has also led the team to establish strategic collaboration with more than 30 cities of advanced design globally and organized and undertaken design events including the Shenzhen Main Session of National Mass Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week, Shenzhen International Industrial Design Fair, Hebei International Industrial Design Week, Goldreed Industrial Design Award, FAB12, “China Pavilion” of 100% Design London, Shenzhen International Maker Week, China (Shenzhen) International Industrial Design Festival and UNLEASH2019. In addition, Feng helped with the co-organization of CPC and World Political Parties Summit and the key VI design of the Summit Forum, and participated in the design and production of logo and other materials of the 40th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone.
